- All cannabis products sold by Southern Ohio Botanicals (“SOB”) are intended solely for use by adults aged 21 years or older, or by registered medical cannabis patients in accordance with Ohio law.
- A valid government-issued photo ID or a current medical cannabis card must be presented for purchase.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to comply with all state and local laws regarding possession, transport, and consumption of cannabis products. SOB is not responsible for any legal consequences arising from improper use, storage, or transportation of purchased products.
Health and Safety Warnings
- Impairment Warning: Cannabis use may cause drowsiness, dizziness, and cognitive or motor impairment. Do not drive, operate heavy machinery, or engage in activities requiring alertness while under the influence.
- Potential Health Risks: Cannabis may be habit-forming and is not without health risks. Effects vary by individual and may include anxiety, paranoia, or other adverse reactions.
- Medical Disclaimer: Products sold by SOB are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Customers should consult with a licensed healthcare provider before use, especially if they are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition, or are taking prescription medications.
- Product Potency: Potency levels and onset times vary by product. Customers are encouraged to start low and go slow when consuming new products.
Safe Storage and Use
- Keep all cannabis products out of the reach of children and pets.
- Products should be stored in their original packaging with labels intact.
- Open or tampered products may not be eligible for return or exchange, except as defined in SOB’s Return and Exchange Policy.
Liability and Assumption of Risk
- By purchasing cannabis products from SOB, customers acknowledge and accept that they are assuming all risks associated with possession, consumption, and storage.
- SOB makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, about the effects or benefits of cannabis use.
- SOB, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, legal issue, or other consequence resulting from the use or misuse of products purchased.
Return and Exchange Policy
- All returns and exchanges must comply with SOB’s posted Return and Exchange Policy and may only be processed at the original location of purchase.
- Products that are opened, used, or otherwise tampered with are generally not eligible for return, except in cases of product defect as determined by SOB staff.
Acknowledgment
By completing a purchase, the customer:
- Confirms they are of legal age or a qualified patient under Ohio law.
- Accepts full responsibility for their compliance with all applicable laws.
- Understands and accepts the risks associated with cannabis consumption.
- Releases Southern Ohio Botanicals from liability related to their purchase and use of products.
